Age Limit
For MTS post : candidates should be a minimum of 18 years old but not older than 25 years old.
For Havaldar post : candidates must not exceed 27 years of age.

Application Fee
• No fees for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC ), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen(ESM) eligible for reservation
• For other categories- ₹100
• Note : Fee can be paid only through online payment modes e.g. Net Banking, BHIM UPI, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit card.
• Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 01-08-2024 (till 11 PM).

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern
Paper I : It will be held in 15 distinct languages, excluding the English section.
The Computer-Based Examination (CBT) will be divided into two sessions : Session-I and Session-II,
both sessions are compulsory for all candidates to attempt.
Failure to participate in any session will result in disqualification of the candidate.
In Session 1
there will be two papers-
1. Numerical and Mathematical AbilityÂ
2. Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving.
• No negative marking will be there in this session.
In Session 2
• General Awareness and
• English Language
• there will be a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer

• Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS,

• Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures,
• Distance and Time,
• Lines and Angles,
• Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square and Square roots etc.
2 Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving:
• Alpha-Numeric Series,
• Coding and Decoding,
• Analogy,
• Following Directions,
• Similarities and Differences,
• Jumbling,
• Problem Solving and Analysis,
• Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams,

• Calendar and Clock, etc.
3 General Awareness:
• History,
• Geography,
• Art and Culture,
• Civics,
• Economics
• General Science and Environmental studies up to 10th Standard.
4 English Language and Comprehension:
• Candidates’ understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary,
• grammar, sentence structure,
• synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc.
• To test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and question based on the paragraph to be asked.Â
